AI/ML API Integration, GraphQL, Microservices Architecture, Kotlin with Spring Boot, React.js, Docker, Java, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, RESTAPI

Fig AI is Looking for:

Role: Full-Stack Engineer (Contractor)

Company: Fig AI — (Stealth) Startup building AI workflow automation for food manufacturers.

Tech Stack:

• Backend: Kotlin, Spring Boot
• Frontend: React
• Database: PostgreSQL
  
  
  

Experience: 4-6 years, mid-level. Looking for someone autonomous who can own features end-to-end with minimal hand-holding.

Backend focus, but should be able to handle FE tasks with minimal oversight as well.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the CTO on product development
• Build and maintain core product features end-to-end
• Data modelling, schema design, APIs, FE development.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Kotlin/Spring Boot or Java/Spring (Kotlin preferred)
• 2 hours overlap with PST/PDT
• Solid React skills
• PostgreSQL experience
• Comfortable working in an early-stage startup environment
• Minimum 2 hours overlap with US Pacific time
  
  
  

Nice to have:

• Graduates from IITs, BITS, IIITs, NITs, or similar top-tier institutions
• Prior startup experience
