Full Stack Developer – React & Node.js

Role Summary

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in React for frontend development and Node.js for backend services. The candidate will be responsible for building scalable, secure, and high-performance applications in a cloud-enabled environment while supporting healthcare digital platforms for Optum.

The role requires experience in modern JavaScript frameworks, API development, and cloud-based microservices architectures.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Develop scalable frontend applications using React.js and modern JavaScript frameworks.
2. Build backend services and APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
3. Design and implement microservices-based architectures.
4. Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and third-party services.
5. Deploy and maintain applications in AWS or Azure environments.
6. Implement best practices in performance optimization and security.
7. Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners and architects.
9. Write reusable, testable, and efficient code following engineering standards.
10. Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.

Required Skills

• 6–8 years experience in Full Stack development
• Strong expertise in React.js and Node.js
• Experience in REST API development
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS
