Job Description

Full Stack Developer — Healthcare Products (US)

Wundrsight Health | Full-Time | Gurugram / Hybrid

About Wundrsight Health

Wundrsight Health is an leading global digital therapeutics company building AI-powered mental health and neurorehabilitation products for the US healthcare market. We work with hospitals, clinicians, and payers to deliver XR-based therapies and intelligent AI practice management tools that improve patient outcomes at scale. We are a funded, early-stage company with a small, high-ownership engineering team — and we are growing.

The Role

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer (SDE-1) to join our core product team and help build the backend and frontend infrastructure powering our healthcare software suite. You will work across EHR integrations, insurance workflows, clinical dashboards, and AI-driven features — shipping real product that touches patients and clinicians in the US market. This is a high-ownership role. You will not be handed fully scoped tickets. You will work closely with the founding team, make architectural decisions, and see your work go live fast.

What You Will Work On

  • Building and maintaining integrations with hospital EHR systems using healthcare interoperability standards
  • Developing insurance and billing workflows including eligibility verification and prior authorization
  • Designing backend APIs and data pipelines that handle sensitive clinical data with strict compliance requirements
  • Contributing to clinician-facing dashboards and patient-facing product interfaces
  • Working within a HIPAA-compliant cloud infrastructure on AWS
  • Collaborating with clinical and product teams to translate healthcare workflows into robust software

Must-Have Technical Skills

  • 3+ years of full stack engineering experience
  • Strong backend proficiency in Node.js or Python — REST APIs, async processing, queue-based architecture
  • Frontend experience with React and TypeScript
  • PostgreSQL or equivalent relational database experience — data modeling, query optimization
  • AWS cloud experience — serverless, managed queues, infrastructure fundamentals
  • Familiarity with HIPAA or equivalent data compliance requirements — handling sensitive personal data, encryption, audit logging
  • Experience working with third-party APIs and building reliable integrations

Good to Have

  • Experience with healthcare interoperability standards — HL7 FHIR, EDI X12, or similar
  • Exposure to US healthcare workflows — insurance, billing, prior authorization, claims
  • Clearinghouse or payer API integration experience
  • Stripe or payment processing integration experience
  • Infrastructure as Code experience — Terraform, AWS CDK, or similar
  • Interest in AI and clinical decision support applications

You Will Thrive Here If You

  • Take ownership of problems end-to-end without waiting to be told what to do next
  • Are comfortable working in a small team where your decisions have real product impact
  • Can navigate ambiguous requirements and turn them into clean, maintainable systems
  • Care about building software that has a direct impact on healthcare access and patient outcomes
  • Have worked on products with strict data security or compliance requirements

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation benchmarked to experience
  • ESOPs — equity participation in a funded, FDA-recognized digital health company
  • Flexible hybrid setup with fast growth product startup culture
  • Annual learning budget for certifications, courses, and conferences
  • Direct access to the founding team and meaningful influence over product and architecture decisions
  • The opportunity to build healthcare infrastructure that serves the US market from the ground up

How to Apply

Send us a short note on what you have built, a link to your GitHub or any relevant work, and your expected compensation. No formal cover letter needed — specific examples of what you have shipped matter more. If you have worked on products with compliance, integration, or healthcare context, tell us about it at [email protected]

PS: Wundrsight Health is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
