About the role:

We’re looking for a Full-Stack Developer to help build and evolve modern web applications across both backend and frontend. In this role, you’ll work on scalable backend services, APIs, user-facing features, integrations, and overall product reliability. You’ll collaborate closely with product, design, QA, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features from concept to production.

What you'll do:

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and REST APIs in Java
• Develop responsive, user-friendly frontend features and interfaces using modern web technologies
• Work across the full stack to deliver end-to-end product functionality
• Integrate with external providers and third-party services such as payments, identity, messaging, and other platform tools
• Improve system performance, scalability, and observability through monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting
• Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, refactoring, and documentation
• Work with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL), including schema design, queries, and migrations
• Collaborate with frontend, backend, QA, and product teams to ship features safely and continuously
• Support production operations, investigate incidents, debug issues, and implement root cause fixes
• Contribute to technical decisions, architecture discussions, and engineering best practices across the team

What we're looking for:

• 3–5+ years of experience in software engineering, including both backend and frontend development
• Strong Java skills and solid backend engineering fundamentals
• Experience with Spring Boot or similar Java frameworks
• Practical frontend experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React
• Good understanding of modern frontend development principles, component-based architecture, and state management
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, and authentication/authorization concepts such as JWT and OAuth2
• Experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
• Confidence writing tests across the stack, including unit and integration tests
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development workflows
• Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and ability to work across different parts of the product

Bonus points:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure
• Familiarity with containerization and deployment tools such as Docker
• Experience in fintech, payments, compliance, or other high-availability systems
• Experience building and maintaining production-grade frontend applications with strong focus on usability and performance
