Full Stack Developer

Company Description GeMTech PARAS specializes in consulting and support services for sellers on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) Portal, helping individuals and organizations offer their products and services to the Government of India. The company provides comprehensive GeM Portal Services, including account management and automation, as well as structured GeM Portal Training Workshops. Core service areas include GeM Portal Registration, OEM vendor assessment, category management for product and service listings, and bidding/tender management. GeMTech PARAS also focuses on business analytics within GeM, along with education and training through its dedicated training vertical, GeMPathshala. Team members collaborate closely with clients to streamline their GeM operations and improve business outcomes.

We are seeking a disciplined Full Stack Developer to architect and maintain high-traffic web applications. You will be responsible for building modular, well-tested, and maintainable systems using a diverse technology stack.

Key Responsibilities

• Architectural Excellence: Design and implement modular web applications using Laravel (PHP 8.3+) and FastAPI (Python) on the backend, integrated with React.js/Next.js on the frontend.
• API Development: Build and consume robust, type-safe RESTful APIs with a focus on security, performance, and documentation.
• Clean Code Standards: Write "self-documenting" code by strictly adhering to SOLID principles, DRY (Don't Repeat Yourself), and OOP design patterns.
• Database Strategy: Optimize complex queries and manage relational database schemas (MySQL/PostgreSQL) using advanced indexing and eager loading to prevent performance bottlenecks.
• State & Logic Management: Manage complex frontend states using React Hooks, Context API, or Zustand/Redux, and implement scalable server-side logic using Node.js where required.
• Quality Assurance: Lead code health initiatives through peer reviews, debugging, and automated testing (e.g., PHPUnit, Pest, or Cypress).

Required Technical Expertise

• Backend Frameworks: Mastery of Laravel (PHP 8.x) and FastAPI (Python), with additional experience in Node.js for high-concurrency tasks.
• Frontend: Proficient in React.js (or Next.js), TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and Vite.
• Core Theory: Deep knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and SOLID architectural principles.
• Data Layer: Advanced SQL, query optimization, database normalization, and caching with Redis.
• Tools: Proficiency in Git (GitFlow), Docker, and modern CI/CD workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2–5 years of professional experience building and scaling web products.
• Problem Solving: A proven track record of breaking down complex business requirements into logical, reusable components.

Education: BE, BTech, or a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
