Job Description: Full Stack Developer Location: FLAME University, Pune (Lavale Campus) Department: Digital Media / IT / Marketing Position: Full Stack Developer About the Role FLAME University is seeking a skilled and proactive Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in PHP, WordPress, and modern front-end technologies . The candidate will collaborate with the Digital Media, IT, and Marketing teams to develop, optimize, and manage high-performance websites and digital platforms. This role requires hands-on technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver seamless digital experiences. Key Responsibilities Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites and themes using PHP Build responsive and interactive front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks Develop and integrate custom plugins, APIs, and third-party tools Ensure website performance, security, scalability, and SEO best practices Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate designs into high-quality code Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing web applications Maintain clean, reusable, and well-documented code Work with hosting environments, deployments, backups, and version control Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness Support analytics tracking, forms, and marketing technology integrations Technical Skills Required Backend Strong proficiency in PHP In-depth experience with WordPress (theme & plugin development) Knowledge of MySQL / MariaDB Experience with REST API development and integrations Frontend Strong command of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript Experience with Bootstrap, Tailwind, jQuery Exposure to React, Vue, or other modern JS frameworks (preferred) Expertise in responsive and mobile-first design DevOps & Tools Version control experience using Git Familiarity with Linux hosting, cPanel, AWS , or similar platforms Knowledge of performance optimization and website security practices Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (preferred) Additional Skills (Preferred) Experience with Laravel, Joomla, or headless CMS Understanding of SEO , Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager Experience with payment gateway and CRM integrations Knowledge of UI/UX design principles Educational Qualification Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields Equivalent hands-on experience will also be considered Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to manage multiple projects under tight timelines Self-driven, proactive, and detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership
