Competency: Full Stack Developer This position is for a Full Stack Developer, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining intelligent software applications that enhance user experience and streamline business processes. They must possess expertise in both frontend and backend technologies, including multiple JavaScript frameworks, API integrations, and database management. The role also demands proficiency in working with multiple cloud technologies, tools and frameworks. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to integrate multiple features seamlessly and address scalability and performance challenges. Candidates should demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, an agile mindset, and a passion for creating innovative, user-centric solutions. Candidate should possess working knowledge of FullStack Technologies with- React, Angular, Vue.js as Frontend and Python and Node.js as Backend skills Key Skills Required Strong programming skills in FullStack Technologies with- React or Angular or Vue.js as Frontend and Backend using Python, FastAPI and/or Node.js Experience in developing software applications using either Azure or AWS services (EC2, EBS, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, etc). Familiarity with Generative AI services and classical AI/ML applications. Experience with developing REST and/or gRPC client services. Experience working with Relational and NoSQL Databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc). Experience working with GitHub, GitHub actions and a sloid understanding of branching strategies Familiarity with continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment processes. Working knowledge of secure coding principles, application security vulnerabilities, and counter measures (GitHub Advanced Security, Code Scanning, etc). Ideally have experience in developing and designing AI/Agentic Software Solutions. Key Responsibilities Include Lead a team of software engineers as a Tech Lead for some of the specific projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design software architecture flows, and implement them. Design and integrate software systems with various platforms and applications, ensuring seamless user experiences. Partner with Lilly business-facing IT teams developing new business applications based on the modern stack as well as modernizing existing applications. Work closely with UX designers, Product Owners, Architects and Business Stakeholders to create user-friendly and high-value software systems. Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams regarding end-to-end software engineering and full stack development processes. Basic Qualifications Bachelor?s in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Science, Information Engineering or related field 8+ years of experience in developing full stack software applications in a cloud native environment. Proficient in integrating frontend and backend components with scalable, maintainable architecture. Exposure to performance monitoring, API analytics, and application security practices. Experience in Agile methodologies with a strong commitment to iterative development and continuous feedback. Ability to mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and lead technical initiatives.
