Job Description

Full Stack DeveloperWe're Looking for a System Architect Who's Lazy in the Best Way. This isn't a job for someone who just writes code. This is for developers who've written so much code that they've become strategically lazy ?the kind of lazy that builds systems, creates reusable components, and leverages AI to 10x their output because they refuse to solve the same problem twice. Who You Are (The Real You, Not Your LinkedIn) You're a developer who's been through the wars. You've built enough features, fixed enough bugs, and refactored enough spaghetti code to know that the best code is the code you don't have to write . You are: Battle-tested and wise ?you've shipped real products, felt real pain, and learned real lessons A systems thinker ?you naturally think in components, modules, and reusable patterns; you build LEGO blocks, not monoliths Productively lazy ?you automate repetitive tasks, create abstractions, and use AI tools like Copilot/Cursor/Codex as force multipliers (and you pay for them because you understand ROI) Stack-agnostic ?you've played with enough technologies to know that tools are just tools; principles matter more than frameworks A pragmatist ?you choose boring, proven solutions over shiny new toys (unless the shiny toy actually solves a real problem better) Efficiency-obsessed ?if you've done something three times, you've already automated it or componentized it You don't write code to prove you're smart. You write code that makes everyone's life easier?including future you. What You've Probably Done (Your Background) We don't care about your degree or your first job. We care about your journey of pain and enlightenment : You've built enough features that you now instinctively design for reusability You've maintained enough legacy code that you now write documentation and clear abstractions You've repeated enough patterns that you've created your own component libraries, utilities, or boilerplates You've wasted enough time on manual tasks that you now invest in tools, scripts, and AI assistance You've collaborated enough to know that good architecture makes everyone's job easier Translation: You're mid-level to senior in experience, but more importantly, you're senior in mindset . What You'll Do (The Actual Work) You'll be building dynamic, real-world products that need to adapt, scale, and evolve. This means: Full-stack development : Own features end-to-end?frontend, backend, database, APIs, deployment Component-based architecture : Build modular, reusable systems that make scaling and maintenance a breeze (not a nightmare) Collaborate with designers : Turn their vision into reality while pushing back when something doesn't make technical sense (respectfully) Work with other developers : Share patterns, review code, build together?no lone wolves here Leverage AI intelligently : Use Copilot, Cursor, Codex, or whatever gives you superpowers?we see it as an investment, not cheating Own your domain : Make architectural decisions, propose improvements, and take pride in clean, maintainable systems What We Actually Care About (Skills & Stack)Must-Haves: Full-stack experience : You've built both frontend and backend?you know how they talk to each other and where things can break Component-based thinking : Whether it's React components, API modules, database schemas, or design systems?you think in reusable pieces Solid fundamentals : Data structures, algorithms, system design, performance optimization?not whiteboard tricks, but real-world application Shipped products : You've built things people actually use (side projects, client work, startups, open source?we don't care where, just that it's real) AI-assisted workflow : You know how to use AI coding tools to accelerate development, not just copy-paste suggestions blindly We're Stack-Agnostic, But You Probably Know Some Of: Frontend : React, Vue, Angular, Svelte, or whatever?as long as you understand component architecture Backend : Node, Python, Go, Ruby, Java, or anything that can build scalable APIs Databases : SQL, NoSQL, or both?you know when to use which DevOps basics : Git, CI/CD, Docker, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)?you're not a DevOps engineer, but you can deploy your own stuff We care more about your ability to learn and adapt than your current tech stack. What We Offer (The Real Deal) No corporate nonsense : No BOD/EOD. No daily standups just for the sake of it. No micromanagement. No "ticket-pushing." Work on your schedule : Code when you're in flow. Take breaks when you're stuck. We judge output and impact, not hours. Creative autonomy : If your approach makes sense architecturally, you have the freedom to execute it Tool budget : Need a better AI subscription? A premium IDE? A course? We invest in what makes you more effective Collaborative, not competitive : We're a group of friends building something meaningful?help each other, learn together, grow together Quality over speed : We'd rather ship robust, maintainable code than quick hacks that haunt us later The Culture Fit This setup works best if you: Value craftsmanship but know when "good enough" is actually good enough Enjoy teaching and learning ?you'll work with designers and developers who appreciate clear communication Take ownership ?you don't need someone telling you what to do; you need a problem and the freedom to solve it Embrace tools ?you see AI, automation, and abstractions as allies, not enemies Think long-term ?you build systems that make future work easier, not just quick fixes How to Apply Send us: Your GitHub/portfolio/project links (we want to see how you think and build) A short note (not a formal cover letter) telling us: A system or component you built because you were tired of repeating yourself?what problem did it solve? How you currently use AI tools in your development workflow (or why you don't) A technical decision you made that saved you (or your team) significant time later Optional : Any side projects, open source contributions, or experiments that show your curiosity No formal resume required. Your code and your thinking matter more than job titles. The Reality Check This isn't for everyone. If you need: Strict structure and detailed task assignments Constant supervision or validation A traditional 9-to-5 with clear boundaries ...this probably isn't your place. But if you're the kind of developer who: Gets genuinely excited about elegant abstractions Has strong opinions about DRY, SOLID, and component patterns Sees AI tools as productivity boosters, not crutches Wants to build with people who respect your craft and your autonomy ...then we should talk. Let's build systems that make our future selves say "thank you."
