Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable React.js web applications that power Swiggy's consumer-facing and internal products.
• Translate product, design, and business requirements into clean, reusable, responsive, and high-performance React components with strong attention to maintainability and accessibility.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, QA, and fellow developers to deliver high-quality features from concept through production deployment.
• Build modern frontend applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, React Hooks, state management libraries, REST APIs, and contemporary frontend architecture patterns.
• Improve application performance, optimize rendering, debug production issues, conduct code reviews, and contribute to engineering best practices across the frontend codebase.
• Develop reusable UI components, maintain frontend architecture standards, and participate in testing, release planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience with strong hands-on React.js development in production-grade web applications.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript with excellent understanding of React component architecture, Hooks, routing, asynchronous programming, and API integration.
• Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, browser compatibility, web performance optimization, accessibility, and reusable component development.
• Experience with Redux, Context API, Zustand, or similar state management libraries, along with frontend testing frameworks such as Jest or React Testing Library.
• Familiarity with Next.js, Webpack, Vite, ESLint, Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and modern frontend development tools is highly desirable.
• Product-company experience with strong ownership, clean coding practices, problem-solving ability, and collaborative communication skills.
