Description The India and Emerging marketplace team builds products and services that solve unique customer needs for Amazon?s fast growing marketplaces. Our team is looking for highly motivated individuals to help deliver the next great innovations to reduce the core shopping experience latency for India and Emerging marketplace Customers. This position is based in our Bangalore office. About The Team We are known as the International Emerging Stores (IES) Latency team. Our mission is to disproportionately reduce latency for all emerging shoppers ? EM5 (IN, AE, SA, BR, MX), EG, AU, SG, TR, bridge the gap with local Image Competitors (ICs) and bridge the gap with Best at Amazon (BAA). While our charter work backwards from the needs of emerging customer, we continue to leverage WW platforms and look to improve overall product with foundational capabilities and improvements that are not only relevant in emerging stores, but also for Amazon WW. Basic Qualifications 2+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience 1+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) experience Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as angular and react Preferred Qualifications 1+ years of agile software development methodology experience Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
