Frontend Engineer

Fitshield is dedicated to transforming how people make food decisions by bridging the gap between human biology and food systems. Fitshield leverages real-time data on human biology, goals, allergies, culture, and intent. Fitshield is the decision-making layer for food, empowering consumers, restaurants, platforms, and even autonomous kitchens.

We run a live production system:

• Django/Python backend
• Flutter mobile + web application
• React dashboard ecosystem
• MongoDB infrastructure
• AWS deployment stack
• AI-driven real-time nutrition intelligence layer
• Proprietary recommendation engine developed in-house for personalized food intelligence and real-time decision systems
  

• Minimum 3–5 Years

• No Intern Applications
  

• Building and maintaining scalable frontend systems across web and mobile
• Developing high-performance interfaces using React and Flutter
• Collaborating closely with backend engineers, designers, and product teams
• Optimizing frontend performance, responsiveness, and scalability
• Managing API integrations and real-time data rendering
• Writing clean, maintainable, production-ready code
• Leveraging AI-powered workflows for faster development and execution
• Contributing to component architecture and frontend system consistency
• Reporting directly to the Tech Lead
  

• Strong expertise in React.js
• Flutter / Dart experience preferred
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and frontend architecture
• Experience with responsive UI/UX systems
• Understanding of state management and scalable frontend structures
• Strong debugging, optimization, and testing practices
• Comfortable using AI development tools extensively (Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot, etc.)
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows and collaborative development
