Role Description

This is a full-time remote founding team role for a Frontend Developer. As a founding engineer, you will own Medura's user-facing platform end-to-end — building and scaling it using React 19 and TypeScript from the current beta stage through product-market fit and beyond. Day-to-day work includes translating product and business requirements into scalable UI architectures, integrating with Supabase backend services (authentication, real-time data, and Row Level Security), implementing state management, and optimizing for performance. You will have direct input on technical decisions, architecture direction, and product roadmap. This role reports to the CTO with direct access to all founders.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in React 19 (Server/Client components, Actions, hooks) and TypeScript with strict type safety
• Experience with Vite and Supabase (authentication, RLS, real-time data)
• Proficiency in modern state management (TanStack Query, Zustand, or equivalent)
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, component-driven design, and SOLID principles
• Experience with responsive web design and performance optimization
• Proficiency in Git/GitHub workflows including code reviews and version control
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal direction
• Comfort with ambiguity and fast-changing priorities typical of early-stage startups
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is a plus
• Familiarity with healthcare or medical education technologies is an advantage
