About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Frontend Engineer to join our product team at Recro. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and scaling our SaaS platform used in production environments. Unlike traditional ticket-based roles, this position offers high ownership, allowing you to take complete responsibility for features from conception through deployment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and backend engineers, to create high-performance, scalable frontend systems that deliver exceptional user experiences. Your contributions will directly influence the success of our products and the satisfaction of our customers. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have between 2 to 5 years of experience in frontend or product engineering. You should possess strong proficiency in JavaScript and be well-versed in modern frameworks, with React being preferred. A solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and system design fundamentals is essential. Experience working with APIs and developing database-driven applications is required. Prior experience in SaaS or product-based environments will be considered a significant advantage. Additionally, you should have excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and a keen eye for detail. A proactive attitude and a passion for creating high-quality, scalable frontend solutions are crucial for success in this role.

Responsibilities

As a Frontend Engineer at Recro, your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining scalable frontend systems that meet high-performance standards. You will own the complete lifecycle of features, from initial design and development to deployment and ongoing improvement. Collaborating closely with product managers, backend developers, and designers, you will translate requirements into functional and engaging user interfaces. You will also optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues, and ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness. Furthermore, you will participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices to continually enhance our platform’s capabilities.
