The Role

We're looking for a Frontend Developer who combines strong technical skills with an eye for design and a

deep sense of ownership. You'll be a core member of our engineering team, responsible for building

beautiful, performant, and scalable user interfaces that millions of learners will interact with. You'll work

closely with product, design, and AI/ML teams to craft experiences that feel magical.

What You'll Do

• Own the frontend architecture and build a scalable, maintainable codebase from the ground up

• Design and implement responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces using React

• Collaborate with designers to translate Figma mockups into pixel-perfect, interactive experiences

• Integrate AI-powered features seamlessly into the learning experience (adaptive content, chatbots, recommendations)

• Build reusable component libraries and design systems to ensure consistency across the platform

• Optimize for performance, SEO, and Core Web Vitals to deliver exceptional user experience

• Work with backend engineers to define APIs and ensure smooth data flow

• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions

• Mentor junior developers and contribute to engineering culture as we scale

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience building production-grade frontend applications at scale

• Expert proficiency in React (hooks, context, state management) — this is non-negotiable

• Strong CSS skills with experience in Tailwind CSS, Styled Components, or similar frameworks

• Experience with B2C products — you understand what it takes to build for millions of users

• Strong design sensibility — you care about UX, micro-interactions, and visual polish

• High ownership mindset — you take initiative, move fast, and don't wait to be told what to do

• Experience with TypeScript and modern frontend tooling (Vite, Webpack, ESLint, etc.)

• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)

• Understanding of web performance optimization and accessibility standards

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with Next.js or similar SSR/SSG frameworks

• Familiarity with animation libraries (Framer Motion, GSAP)

• Previous EdTech or consumer tech experience

• Experience integrating with AI/ML APIs or building AI-powered features

• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub portfolio
