Frontend Developer

Description

GK8 is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to join our team.

We are looking for someone who is proactive and resourceful, thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will work closely with product managers and UI/UX designers to develop the next generation of GK8’s cryptographic custody platform. You will leverage frontend technologies to create a seamless, secure, and high-performance user experience.

This role requires strong expertise in React, TypeScript, Electron, and other modern frontend frameworks to ensure optimal performance and usability of our platform.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the user interface of GK8’s cryptographic custody platform.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to implement intuitive and user-friendly UI components.
• Utilize React, TypeScript and Electron to build scalable and high-performance applications.
• Ensure a pixel-perfect user experience, maintaining consistency across different screens and devices.
• Work in an agile development environment, contributing to fast-paced product iterations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in frontend development.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with React in building complex web applications.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, ensuring type safety and code maintainability.
• Familiarity with Electron.
• Strong understanding of modern web development best practices and design patterns.
• Experience working with global state management frameworks (e.g. TanStack Query, Redux).
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and web design principles.
• Strong communication skills.

Advantages

The base salary ranges included below will be commensurate with candidate experience, expertise and local market. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise. At GK8, we maintain a total compensation philosophy which consists of a competitive base salary, annual bonus, and equity incentives.

Salary Range

$150,000 – $180,000 USD
