We are a privately held technology company with a global presence, currently seeking a Front-End Developer to join our team. Accountability Summary The Front-End Developer is a motivated, skilled engineer with 3-5 years of professional experience. They will be responsible for building user-centric, performant, and maintainable interfaces for our web-based and mobile-friendly platform. Applicants should be highly analytical, organized, detail-oriented, self-managed, a team player with a knack for visual design and utility, and able to deliver a quality product in accordance with established requirements and deadlines. Duties and Responsibilities The Front-End Developer will be responsible for the following tasks: Develop responsive web applications using React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS that work seamlessly across all browsers and devices. Implement UI designs from mockups and wireframes with meticulous attention to detail and user experience. Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and services built with PHP and Node.js. Ensure cross-browser compatibility across Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and mobile browsers on major operating systems. Optimize application performance through code splitting, lazy loading, caching, and efficient state management. Write clean, maintainable code following industry best practices with proper testing and debugging. Develop reusable UI components and maintain component libraries for consistent user interfaces. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design concepts into functional, interactive web experiences. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback while mentoring junior developers. Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning, daily standups, and technical architecture discussions. Stay current with the latest front-end technologies and best practices. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Requirements Required Qualifications 3-5 years of hands-on experience in front-end development. Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Experience with TypeScript. Solid experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.js. Understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with backend services. Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility. Familiarity with build tools and package managers such as NPM or Yarn. Experience with version control and collaborative workflows (e.g. Git, Bitbucket, etc.). Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Experience writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests. Some experience working with Figma or similar design tools. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with testing libraries like Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress. Basic understanding of accessibility (WCAG), and performance optimization. Exposure to UI frameworks like Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap. Knowledge of mobile-first design principles. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure. Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
