Frontend Developer /5+ yrs/Remote

Job Role: Frontend Developer (React / TypeScript / Cypress / Jest)

Frontend Developer with strong experience in React (ideally TypeScript) delivering robust, testable user interfaces for complex web applications. Focused on maintainable component architecture, performance, accessibility, and automated testing integrated into CI.

Core Skills

• React with TypeScript/JavaScript, modern HTML/CSS
• Component architecture, reusable UI patterns, state management (context/Redux/RTK or similar)
• API integration (REST), error handling, caching/loading patterns
• Performance optimization (rendering patterns, memoization, bundle awareness)
• Accessibility basics (semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, ARIA awareness)

Testing

• E2E testing with Cypress (stable selectors, flake reduction, CI execution)
• Unit/integration tests with Jest (and React Testing Library - desirable)
• Test strategy: smoke vs regression suites; fast feedback loops

Tools & Workflow

• Git (PR workflow, branching strategy)
• Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines) or equivalent CI/CD
• Artifact repositories / registries: JFrog Artifactory (npm) (desirable)
• Tooling: npm/yarn/pnpm; bundlers (Vite/Webpack) depending on stack
• Debugging tools: browser devtools; API tools (Postman/Swagger)

Typical Deliverables

• Responsive UI built with reusable components and clean state management
• Automated test suites (Jest + Cypress) integrated into CI
• Clear developer documentation and handover notes for maintainability

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 7 months

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
