Role Description The Front Office Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based at Eterno Hotels and Resorts in Idukki. This role oversees daily front office operations, including reception activities, check-in/check-out processes, and managing guest inquiries. The supervisor coordinates reservations, room allocations, and ensures accurate handling of booking information and payments. Responsibilities include guiding and supporting front office team members, monitoring service quality, and resolving guest issues promptly and professionally. The role works closely with other departments to maintain smooth communication, uphold brand standards, and enhance overall guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Strong supervisory skills with experience leading front office or hospitality teams.
  • Proficiency in receptionist duties and front desk operations, including check-in/check-out and handling guest inquiries.
  • Excellent customer service abilities, with a focus on creating positive guest experiences and resolving concerns effectively.
  • Experience with reservations management, room assignment, and basic booking systems or property management software.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact confidently with guests and colleagues.
  • Previous experience in hotels or resorts, ideally in front office or guest-facing roles.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by hotel operations.
  • Diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
