Senior .NET Developer / Solutions Architect – Financial Data Integration

We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer / Solutions Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of a next-generation Credit Screener application for a leading investment management environment. This role will focus on architecting scalable backend systems, integrating with Bloomberg APIs, and building secure, high-performance financial data solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop the backend architecture for a Credit Screener platform using .NET Core / C#.
• Lead Bloomberg API integrations (Desktop API, SAPI, B-PIPE, or Bloomberg Data License).
• Build secure, scalable, and high-performance data pipelines and API integrations.
• Develop and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices for real-time and batch financial data processing.
• Architect and maintain Azure-based infrastructure and services.
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, and encryption mechanisms for API and data exchange workflows.
• Optimize data modeling, caching, and system performance for high-volume market data applications.
• Collaborate with engineering, data, and investment teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Support DevOps and CI/CD automation initiatives using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms.
• Ensure compliance with Bloomberg technical specifications, licensing, and entitlement requirements.
• Produce technical documentation and provide architectural guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with .NET Core / C# application architecture and development.
• Strong experience integrating Bloomberg APIs, including understanding of Bloomberg data licensing and compliance requirements.
• Deep expertise with Microsoft Azure services, including:
• Azure App Services / Azure Functions
• Azure SQL
• Azure Key Vault
• Azure Active Directory
• Azure Event Hub, Service Bus, or Data Factory
• Strong experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Expertise in data modeling, caching strategies, and performance optimization for enterprise-scale applications.
• Experience implementing secure API authentication and encryption frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation tools.
• Strong understanding of financial markets data; fixed income or credit market experience is highly preferred.
• Prior capital markets industry experience is required.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Bloomberg Data License (DL).
• Exposure to enterprise-scale financial data platforms and market data infrastructure.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field required.
