Employment Type: Full-Time | On-site Salary Range: As per Industry Standards Reporting To: Head of Operations Language: Tamil (Mandatory) About the Role The Front-End Trainer is a specialised teaching-only position responsible for delivering world-class training in React Native (90% focus) and React Web (10% focus). This role shapes the mobile engineering foundation of every batch and ensures students master the complete front-end ecosystem required for real-world jobs. You will not be responsible for client project delivery ? your focus is purely on structured teaching labs, debugging support, assessments, and preparing students to contribute effectively to project pods handled by the senior Tech Leads. This role requires a patient educator with strong hands-on experience and the ability to simplify complex engineering logic for beginners. Key Responsibilities 1. Curriculum Delivery (React Native + React Web) Deliver a structured, industry-grade curriculum focused on: React Native (Primary: 90%) React.js (Secondary: 10%) Teach mobile-first engineering using: Expo CLI & React Native CLI React Navigation (Stack, Drawer, Tab) Modern Hooks (useState, useEffect, useReducer, useContext) Component lifecycle, architecture, code organisation Responsive UI with Flexbox, SafeAreaView, ScrollViews, SectionLists API integration, error handling, async workflows Teach modern React.js fundamentals including routing, state management, and componentisation. 2. Hands-On Practical Sessions & Live Labs Conduct daily coding labs with strict Git discipline. Review student work frequently ? commits, pull requests, folder structure. Help students debug errors across: Navigation State management API integration Styling inconsistencies Emulator/device issues Supervise weekly challenges & mini-projects (Login system, Feed UI, CRUD flows). 3. Mobile App Development Foundations Teach device capabilities: Camera, Image Picker Maps & Geolocation Push notifications (FCM / Expo Notifications) File uploads Introduce mobile performance optimisation techniques. Guide students on creating professional UI layouts using: Styled Components / Tailwind CSS (React Native variant) Theming systems Icons & vector graphics (React Native Vector Icons) 4. Deployment & Build Training Teach mobile-build processes using: Expo EAS build pipeline Android/iOS release workflows (APK, AAB, TestFlight awareness) Introduce deployment to AWS Amplify / Vercel for React web projects. 5. Tooling, Version Control & SDLC Integration Teach Git/GitHub fundamentals ? staging, committing, branching, PR reviews. Train students in Agile SDLC: Daily stand-ups Sprint demos Retrospectives Ensure students understand integration workflows with backend APIs. 6. Soft Skills & Professional Conduct Encourage corporate discipline ? punctuality, stand-up etiquette, code hygiene. Prepare students to collaborate with the Backend, QA, BA, PM, and Design streams. Provide weekly performance feedback. Technical Expertise Required Core Technologies React Native (Expo + CLI) React.js (CRA or Vite) JavaScript (ES6+), JSX, TypeScript (optional) React Navigation v6 Axios / Fetch API AsyncStorage, Context API, Reducers Forms & validation (Formik + Yup) Tailwind CSS / CSS Modules / Styled Components Git & GitHub workflows Supporting Tools Android Emulator / Xcode Simulator Flipper for performance debugging Chrome DevTools Figma basics for developer handoff Postman for basic API testing Deployment Tools Expo EAS Build AWS Amplify / Vercel (web hosting) Profile & Experience Requirements 3?5+ years of professional experience in front-end/mobile development.
