Job Description: Front-End Software Development Engineer Location: Remote Experience: 1 - 2 yrs exp in a product startup Qualification: B.tech (Pedigree college) About the role: As a Front-End Software Development Engineer I (SDE I), you will play a pivotal role in shaping our ambitious neo-banking platform for SMEs in India. Your primary responsibility will be translating Sketch/Invision/Figma designs into responsive, high-performance web pages. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, QA engineers, and designers, to deliver new features, enhance existing functionality, and ensure the best possible user experience for our customers. Responsibilities: Convert Sketch/Invision/Figma designs into fully functional web pages. Write reusable and high-performance code to create scalable front-end solutions. Develop responsive code optimized for Web, tablet, and mobile devices. Actively contribute to the development of robust applications and prototypes. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other team members to ship new features, resolve issues, and continuously improve the product. Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to respond to changing business needs promptly. Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment to achieve collective goals. Requirements: Proficient in any web based framework, willingness to learn Angular 12+. Proficiency in HTML5 and JavaScript / Typescript. Good knowledge of CSS frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap) and LESS or SASS. Proficiency in understanding and consuming REST Web Services/RESTful APIs. Experience with version control systems, particularly Git. Ability and willingness to foster a culture of knowledge sharing and growth within the team. Additional Preferred Skills : While the following skills are not mandatory, experience in any of these areas will be considered an advantage: Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases. Experience with server-side technologies such as Node.js, Java, Ruby, or Python. Exposure to Electron framework for building desktop applications. Knowledge of Web sockets and socket clients for real-time communication. Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and familiarity with testing libraries like Jasmine and Karma.
