Role Description The Front Desk Receptionist is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This position is responsible for greeting visitors, answering and directing phone calls, managing inquiries, and providing a welcoming and professional front office experience. Daily tasks include maintaining reception area cleanliness, handling incoming and outgoing mail, managing appointment schedules, and supporting basic clerical activities such as filing, data entry, and document preparation. The receptionist will coordinate with internal teams, assist learners and partners with information, and ensure that all front desk procedures are followed consistently.

Qualifications

  • Female Candidates should possess strong receptionist duties skills, including greeting visitors, managing appointments, and handling front desk operations.
  • Candidates should possess solid phone etiquette skills for answering, screening, and directing calls professionally.
  • Candidates should possess clerical skills such as filing, basic data entry, record-keeping, and handling correspondence.
  • Candidates should possess clear and professional communication skills for interacting with learners, partners, and internal teams.
  • Candidates should possess customer service skills to address inquiries, resolve minor issues, and provide helpful information.
  • Ability to work on-site in Chennai, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with basic office software (email, word processing, spreadsheets) and office equipment (phones, printers, scanners).
  • Prior experience in a front desk, administrative, or customer-facing role is preferred; completion of secondary education or higher is beneficial.
