Role Description The Front Desk Receptionist role is a full-time, on-site position based at Digital Azadi Jalandhar – JLR Digimark Hub in Jalandhar. The receptionist will greet visitors, guide students and guests, manage the front desk area, and maintain a welcoming and professional environment. Daily responsibilities include answering phone calls, responding to inquiries, managing appointments, and directing individuals to the appropriate staff or departments. The role also involves handling basic clerical tasks such as record keeping, managing visitor logs, organizing documents, and coordinating courier or mail services. The Front Desk Receptionist will collaborate closely with the administrative and academic teams to support smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Communication skills to interact professionally with students, visitors, and team members.
  • Candidates should possess solid Receptionist Duties and Phone Etiquette skills for managing calls, greeting guests, and handling front desk operations.
  • Candidates should possess essential Clerical Skills, including basic filing, data entry, and record management.
  • Basic computer literacy (email, office applications, and scheduling tools) and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and reliability in daily tasks.
  • Prior experience in a front office or administrative role is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Comfort communicating in Hindi and English to support diverse learners and visitors.
