Job Description

About the Role

Truxo is hiring a freight industry professional to help support customers and ensure our product works the way freight actually operates.

This role is designed for someone who has worked as a dispatcher, broker assistant, or freight operations coordinator and wants to move out of daily dispatch chaos into a product-focused, long-term career path.

You’ll support real customers, validate workflows, and help catch issues before they reach production. Your freight experience will directly shape product quality, customer experience, and system reliability.

⚠️ This is not a sales role and not a load-booking position. There are no commissions, quotas, or rate negotiations.
What You’ll Be Working On
  • Support brokers, carriers, dispatchers, and ops teams using Truxo.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to:
  • Loads, shipments, and dispatch workflows
  • Carrier onboarding and compliance
  • Rate confirmations, documents, and invoicing
  • Load statuses, tracking, and operational exceptions
  • Reproduce customer-reported issues using real freight scenarios.
  • Perform manual testing of new features and bug fixes before production.
  • Validate that workflows match real-world freight operations, not just specs.
  • Identify edge cases, gaps, and breakdowns in the system.
  • Work with Product and Engineering to clearly explain:
  • What went wrong
  • What should have happened
  • How freight teams actually work
  • Help improve onboarding, FAQs, and internal runbooks.
  • Document recurring issues and suggest workflow improvements.
  • Assist during high-priority incidents when customers are impacted.
Who This Role Is For

This role is ideal for candidates who have worked as:

  • Freight Dispatcher (OTR or Drayage)
  • Broker Assistant
  • Carrier Operations Coordinator
  • Logistics Operations Specialist
  • Transportation Operations Associate

Especially those who enjoy:

  • Fixing broken workflows
  • Understanding systems deeply
  • Helping others use tools correctly
  • Turning operational pain into permanent solutions
What You’ll Bring
  • 2+ years of hands-on freight operations experience
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Dispatch workflows
  • Load lifecycle (planning → dispatch → delivery → invoicing)
  • Broker–carrier–driver coordination
  • Ability to clearly explain operational issues and expected behavior.
  • Strong attention to detail and process thinking.
  • Comfort working with software systems and learning new tools.
  • Willingness to document issues, steps, and observations.
  • Ownership mindset — you care about fixing the root cause.
  • Comfortable working US timezone hours.
Nice to Have (Not Required)
  • Experience working with a TMS or freight software platform.
  • Prior customer support or internal ops support experience.
  • Exposure to QA, UAT, or release validation.
  • Familiarity with tracking tools, ELDs, or load boards.
  • Fluent in English and Punjabi.
  • Experience in drayage or port operations.
Growth Path

This role can grow into:

  • Senior Operations Support
  • Industry-Focused QA / Release Owner
  • Product Operations
  • Customer Experience Lead
  • Freight Workflow Specialist

You’re not leaving freight — you’re helping build how freight software works.

Why truxo.ai
  • Your industry experience directly impacts the product.
  • Close collaboration with Product and Engineering.
  • No sales pressure, no quotas.
  • Opportunity to move upstream from reactive ops to system ownership.
  • Fast-moving, low-bureaucracy environment.
  • Real ownership in a production-grade freight platform.
