Role Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible Freelance Journey Mentors to lead and manage 2–4 day domestic school journeys across India. You will be the face of EdTerra on-ground—ensuring smooth operations, student safety, and an enriching experience for all participants.
Key Responsibilities
👥 Group Leadership & Management
- Lead a group of ~40 students and teachers on domestic tours.
- Represent EdTerra on-ground and ensure a smooth journey experience.
- Coordinate with the internal operations team and school staff before and during the journey.
- Maintain proactive communication for updates, emergencies, and daily progress.
- Manage all logistics including travel, accommodation, meals, and activities.
- Follow the itinerary and ensure vendors deliver quality and timely services.
- Ensure safety and well-being of all students at all times.
- Handle medical, behavioral, or emergency situations responsibly.
- Foster a respectful, positive, and engaging journey atmosphere.
- Submit journey reports, student feedback, and incident documentation as per company protocols.
✅ Eligibility
- Prior experience in group travel, teaching, youth mentoring, hospitality, or training preferred.
- Excellent communication and people management skills.
- Confident, adaptable, and able to make on-ground decisions independently.
- Willing to travel frequently during September–November 2025.
- Capable of handling student groups (Grades 5–12) with warmth and discipline.
- Must possess valid government ID (PAN/Aadhaar mandatory for onboarding).
- Daily Payment: ₹1,000 – ₹1,200 (based on experience and journey history).
- Inclusions: All travel, stay, meals, and journey-related expenses are covered by EdTerra.
- Repeat Assignments: High-performing mentors may receive multiple assignments.
