Job Summary
We are looking for a Mid–Senior Frappe Developer to design, customize, and scale
business applications built on the Frappe Framework and ERPNext. You will work on
custom apps, integrations, performance optimization, and SaaS-ready multi-tenant solutions
while following best practices and open-source compliance.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Development & Customization
● Develop custom Frappe apps without modifying ERPNext core
● Customize ERPNext modules using:
○ Custom Doctypes
○ Server Scripts & Client Scripts
○ Hooks, Overrides, and Fixtures
● Implement complex business workflows and validations
● Build REST APIs and background jobs (workers)
🔹 ERPNext Expertise
● Strong hands-on experience with ERPNext modules like:
○ Accounts
○ HRMS
○ Healthcare / Education (if applicable)
○ Inventory & CRM
● Understand ERPNext data models and permissions deeply
🔹 Integrations & APIs
● Integrate third-party services (Payment Gateways, SMS, Email, WhatsApp, etc.)
● Build and consume REST APIs
● Handle authentication, webhooks, and async tasks
🔹 Performance & Security
● Optimize database queries and background jobs
● Ensure role-based access control and data security
● Handle production issues, logs, and monitoring
🔹 Deployment & DevOps
● Deploy Frappe apps on AWS / DigitalOcean / Bare metal
● Manage:
○ Bench
○ Nginx
○ Redis
○ Supervisor
● Handle upgrades and migrations safely
🔹 Team Collaboration
● Review code and mentor junior developers
● Collaborate with product managers and QA
● Participate in architectural discussions

● Python (Advanced)
● Frappe Framework (Strong hands-on)
● ERPNext customization
● JavaScript, Jinja, HTML/CSS
● MariaDB / MySQL
● REST APIs & Webhooks
● Git & version control
🔹 Tools & Concepts
● Bench CLI
● Background jobs & schedulers
● Multi-tenant SaaS architecture (preferred)
● Linux server administration basics
Good to Have (Bonus Skills)
● Experience building SaaS products on ERPNext
● Knowledge of Healthcare / Education / Manufacturing domains
● Certified ERPNext consultant/Frappe Developer!
● Docker / AWS & CI/CD pipelines
● Experience contributing to open source
● Knowledge of GNU GPL v3 compliance
