About The Role

We are looking for a sharp, analytical, and business-savvy FP&A Analyst to join our growing Finance team. This is not a bookkeeping or accounting role — you will be the bridge between financial data and business decisions.

You will work closely with leadership, operations, and business teams to build MIS reports, drive financial models, run scenario analyses, and translate complex data into clear insights. You will sit alongside a team of 4 (including 2 Chartered Accountants) and be the go-to person for analytical firepower.

Key Responsibilities

MIS & Reporting

Design, build, and maintain monthly / weekly MIS dashboards for leadership
Automate recurring reports and flag variance drivers proactively
Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all financial reports

Financial Modeling & Analysis

Build robust financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning
Conduct variance analysis (actuals vs budget vs forecast) and present findings
Support revenue modeling, cost analysis, and margin improvement projects

Business Partnering

Work cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Product teams
Translate financial data into actionable business insights for non-finance stakeholders
Prepare crisp, well-structured presentations for leadership and investor reviews

Process & Tools

Use AI tools (Claude, Copilot for Excel, ChatGPT) to speed up analysis and report writing
Drive adoption of BI tools (Power BI / Tableau) for self-serve reporting
Identify and implement process improvements in the finance workflow

What We're Looking For

Must-Have

2–4 years of hands-on experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or management reporting
Advanced Excel skills — pivot tables, dynamic models, scenario analysis (non-negotiable)
Strong understanding of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
Excellent communication skills — able to present numbers clearly to non-finance teams
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Good to Have

Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or any BI/visualization tool
Basic Python or SQL for data extraction and automation
Prior experience in a fast-growing startup or mid-size company

The AI-Ready Mindset (Important)

Actively uses or is curious about AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot for Finance
Comfortable experimenting with new tools to improve speed and quality of work
Understands that AI doesn't replace finance judgment — it amplifies it

Qualifications

BBA / B.Com / B.Sc (Finance, Accounting, or Economics) — required
MBA Finance — preferred but not mandatory if experience is strong
CA Inter or CFA Level 1 — a plus, not a requirement
