Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Indore for a Formal Verification Researcher. The role involves designing, analyzing, and implementing formal methods and verification techniques to ensure correctness, robustness, and compliance of Kensara’s AI-driven data protection and compliance systems. The Formal Verification Researcher will develop formal specifications, construct proofs, and apply model checking, theorem proving, or other formal methods to critical workflows such as consent management, rights fulfillment, and audit trails. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with engineering and privacy teams to translate regulatory and product requirements into verifiable system properties, conducting research on state-of-the-art formal verification approaches, and prototyping tools or frameworks that integrate verification into Kensara’s platform. The role also includes documenting research outcomes, presenting findings to stakeholders, and contributing to publications, internal knowledge bases, and long-term verification strategy.

Qualifications
- Strong foundation in formal methods, including experience with formal specification languages, model checking, and/or interactive theorem proving.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in formal verification or systems development (such as Python, Rust, OCaml, Haskell, or C/C++).
- Background in computer science, mathematics, or a related discipline, with understanding of logic, automata theory, algorithms, and discrete mathematics.
- Experience or interest in applying formal verification to real-world systems, ideally in domains such as distributed systems, data workflows, or security/privacy.
- Ability to conduct independent research, survey academic and industry literature, and evaluate applicability of advanced formal techniques to product needs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in specifying, modeling, and validating system behavior.
