Job Description: Fire & Safety Officer
Location: Daman
Industry: Lubricants / Oil & Gas / Chemical Manufacturing
Job Summary
We are looking for a Fire & Safety Executive to ensure a safe working environment by implementing fire safety systems, conducting safety audits, and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations in the lubricants manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain fire and safety policies, procedures, and systems.
- Conduct fire risk assessments, safety inspections, and safety audits.
- Ensure firefighting equipment (hydrants, extinguishers, alarms, sprinklers) are functional.
- Conduct mock drills and emergency response training.
- Ensure compliance with fire safety laws and statutory requirements.
- Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation.
- Investigate accidents and near misses and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Fire Department and government authorities.
- Train employees on fire prevention, PPE usage, and evacuation procedures.
- Promote HSE culture and safety awareness programs.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma / Degree in Fire & Safety, Industrial Safety, NEBOSH / IOSH preferred.
- Min 02 to 4 year experience.
- Knowledge of fire safety systems and emergency response planning.
Skills Required
