Job Description

Strong expertise in Fire Protection Systems, Fire Suppression Systems, and Fire Safety Engineering. Proficient in AutoCAD or other CAD tools for fire protection system design. Knowledge of power plant components and their functioning. Familiarity with NFPA standards, ISO codes, and fire safety regulations. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills.

Attend kick-off meetings and finalize fire protection engineering requirements. Understand project requirements, raise technical clarifications, and prepare technical and commercial proposals for fire protection systems. Conduct investigations for various fire extinguishing systems, including: Clean agent systems Inert gas systems Carbon dioxide systems Wet chemical systems Water mist systems Aerosol systems Develop detailed specifications for fire protection systems, fire suppression systems, and related equipment. Deliver system design baseline and ensure all technical deliverables meet quality standards. Prepare fire protection system layouts, CAD drawings, schematics (P&ID), electrical diagrams, instrumentation lists, BOM, and documentation. Provide technical support for fire protection system projects and field modifications. Implement fire safety codes and regulations (NFPA, ISO, etc.). Design and estimate: Gas suppression systems (foam, water mist) Water-based systems (sprinkler, mist, high-velocity water) Fire alarm systems Fire extinguishers Fire detectors (IR and UV detectors) Collaborate with manufacturers, suppliers, sourcing teams, drafting teams, and electrical teams. Work with customer project engineers to ensure proper installation of fire protection systems. Stay updated on latest fire protection technologies, fire safety codes, and fire suppression innovations.

B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) Candidates with Fire Protection specialization or relevant experience in industrial projects will be considered
