Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong backend engineering background to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable backend systems.

This role combines hands-on technical leadership with end-to-end project management, ensuring high-quality delivery in Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership :

Lead, mentor, and guide backend developers, enforcing coding standards, best practices, and quality benchmarks.
Architect, design, and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services using Node.js and Nest.js.
Review code, drive performance optimization, and ensure adherence to security best practices.
Provide technical direction on microservices architecture, API design, and system scalability.

Project & Delivery Management

Own Agile project execution, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Frontend, QA, DevOps, Product) to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
Identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks early; propose mitigation plans to ensure smooth execution.
Track progress, timelines, and deliverables to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.

Collaboration & Communication

Act as a bridge between technical teams and stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical solutions.
Ensure clear documentation and communication using tools like Jira and Confluence.
Support continuous improvement in processes, delivery efficiency, and engineering excellence.

Required Skills & Experience

9+ years of experience in backend development with strong expertise in Node.js, Nest.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Hands-on experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and asynchronous programming.
Strong knowledge of databases such as MySQL and NoSQL systems.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS or GCP).
Proven leadership experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

PMP, CSM, or other Agile/Project Management certifications.
Experience with serverless architectures.
Basic understanding of frontend technologies to support full-stack collaboration.
