Financial Analyst

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and execution-driven finance professional who can take ownership of budgeting, costing, financial reporting, and audit readiness. The role requires strong working knowledge of financial software like Tally, Busy, Marg, etc., financial statements, and hands-on experience in managing financial data and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis

· Develop and track costing models for technology, programs, and projects

· Monitor actual v/s budget and highlight deviations with actionable insights

· Maintain and manage books of accounts in financial software.

· Prepare and analyze Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements

· Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records

· Ensure audit readiness at all times (internal/external audits)

· Maintain proper documentation and support for all financial transactions

· Coordinate with auditors and ensure timely closure of audit observations

· Track and manage expenses, vendor payments, and financial controls

· Identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvement

· Support compliance requirements (GST, TDS, etc.) in coordination with consultants

· Generate MIS reports and dashboards for leadership

Key Skills and Competencies

· Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements

· Hands-on experience in Tally (must-have)

· Expertise in budgeting, costing, and variance analysis

· High attention to detail and accuracy

· Strong ownership and ability to work independently

· Analytical mindset with problem-solving ability

Qualifications & Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Finance / Accounting (B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter preferred)

· 2–6 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or audit roles

· Experience in startup / tech / program-based environment is a plus
