Financial Accountant

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our finance team and contribute to critical accounting, reporting, and compliance functions. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with business stakeholders, ensure financial accuracy, support regulatory requirements, and play a key role in strengthening the organization's financial operations and growth objectives. As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements, and supporting financial planning and reporting activities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and accounting records
• Manage General Ledger accounting activities and reconciliations
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes
• Conduct bank, vendor, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Prepare and review GST, TDS, and statutory filings
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Monitor Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to management
• Maintain financial controls and recommend process improvements
