Job Description
The Finance Specialist at our travel company invisit is a crucial member of our team responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing bookkeeping tasks, and ensuring compliance with GST regulations. This role requires a strong foundation in accounting, proficiency in data entry, and familiarity with accounting software, particularly Tally or other bookkeeping tools. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing financial transactions within the travel industry.
Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping: Maintain and update financial records for the travel company, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and reconciling bank statements.
GST Compliance: Ensure the accurate and timely submission of Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns and compliance with GST regulations. Stay up-to-date with changes in GST laws.
Data Entry: Accurately input and categorize financial data, invoices, receipts, and other financial documents into accounting systems. Maintain data integrity and ensure data accuracy.
Tally or Bookkeeping Software: Utilize Tally or other relevant bookkeeping software to record and manage financial transactions. Perform data entry, generate reports, and conduct periodic audits.
Financial Reporting: Generate financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into the company's financial health.
Budget Management: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets, as well as tracking expenses to ensure they align with company goals and objectives.
Reconciliation: Conduct periodic reconciliations of accounts to ensure discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.
Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, potential cost-saving opportunities, and areas for improvement in financial management.
Compliance: Keep abreast of relevant financial regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure the company's financial practices are in compliance.

Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in Finance and Accounting.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Tally or other bookkeeping software.
- Good understanding of Goods and Services Tax (GST) regulations and compliance.
- Excellent data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy.
- Attention to detail and a high level of organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
