Job Description
Job Title: Qualified Chartered Accountant ? Accounting, Taxation & Audit Location: Noida Experience: 2 years (Post Qualification) Industry: Consulting / Financial Services Reporting To: Finance Manager / CFO / Senior Manager ? Finance Key Responsibilities 1. Accounting & Financial Reporting Prepare and maintain accurate books of accounts in compliance with Indian GAAP and/or IFRS. Finalize accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate variances. Support the transition and migration of accounting processes to Zoho Books, ensuring smooth implementation and data accuracy. 2. Taxation Manage direct and indirect tax compliance including Income Tax, TDS, GST, etc. Prepare and review tax returns and ensure timely submissions. Coordinate with external consultants and authorities for tax assessments and filings. Ensure proper documentation and compliance with transfer pricing regulations, if applicable. 3. Auditing Coordinate and support statutory, internal, and tax audits. Prepare audit schedules and respond to auditor queries. Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure compliance and risk mitigation. Assist in SOX compliance or other regulatory reporting if required. 4. Other Finance Functions Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Support process improvements and automation in finance operations. Work with cross-functional teams on finance and compliance-related matters. Key Requirements Qualification: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) Experience: 2 years in a similar role. (Post Qualification) Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation laws, and auditing standards. Tools: Proficient in MS Excel, Tally, SAP or other ERP systems. Zoho Expertise: Hands-on experience with Zoho Books/Zoho Finance Suite is a must. Ability to support and lead Zoho transition, setup, and data migration processes. Soft Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Background Candidates from a consulting background will be preferred, with relevant experience in finance and accounts, and who can join immediately or within 15?20 days.
