Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis. Support long-term financial planning and sustainability strategies. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decisions. Assist with financial presentations to the Board of Trustees, executive leadership, and auditors. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, tax laws, and university policies. Coordinate internal and external audits and facilitate the implementation of recommendations. Manage financial aspects of research funding, grants, and contracts. Ensure compliance with donor and grantor financial requirements. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial reporting standards. Supervise finance team members and ensure professional development. Foster cross-department collaboration on financial matters. Provide financial training or guidance to non-financial staff, faculty, and administrators. Oversee implementation and optimisation of financial systems and tools. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
