Job Description
Role Summary
LMTEQ is hiring a Finance Operations Executive to manage end-to-end finance operations, including invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash flow tracking, managerial accounting, payroll coordination, and financial reporting.
This role is operations-focused and analytics-driven, requiring strong Excel / Google Sheets skills and the ability to build Power BI dashboards and MIS reports.
Statutory accounting, GST, income tax, and audits are not part of this role and are handled by an external auditor. The role will only provide required finance inputs.
Key Responsibilities
- Invoice generation for customers and projects (project-based billing)
- Consultant billing based on approved timesheets
- Internal invoicing between India and USA entities
- Inter-company and chargeback invoicing (per-seater cost, shared services, overhead allocation)
- Accounts Receivable (AR) tracking and collection follow-ups
- Accounts Payable (AP) tracking and vendor payment coordination
- AR/AP aging analysis (0–30 / 31–60 / 61–90 / 90+ days)
- Managerial accounting and cost-center accounting using spreadsheets
- Bank reconciliation and daily cash flow monitoring
- Payroll input validation and payroll coordination
- Work on Saturdays when required (payroll week,year-end closures)
- Daily finance snapshot reporting to management
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards, MIS reports, and finance analytics
- Provide finance data and operational inputs to external auditors
Skills & Qualifications
- 2 - 5 years of experience in finance operations within an IT services / IT consulting company
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Invoicing
- AR / AP
- Cash flow management
- Cost center accounting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets
- Experience in Power BI or any financial analytics/reporting tool
- Strong understanding of project billing, utilization, and timesheet-based invoicing
- High accuracy, ownership, and execution discipline
- Knowledge of Tally / Zoho / QuickBooks is optional
- Reporting, analytics, and financial visibility are more important
