Role Description This is a full-time Field Services Engineer role in a hybrid work arrangement, with primary responsibilities based in Faridabad and some tasks that can be performed from home. The Field Services Engineer will install, commission, and maintain automotive service equipment such as wheel aligners, tyre changers, and systems used in mobile service vans at customer sites. The role includes diagnosing technical issues, performing on-site troubleshooting and repairs, and carrying out preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime. The engineer will provide technical support, train customers on proper usage, and document service activities, reports, and parts usage. Daily work involves coordinating with the internal technical and operations teams, managing service schedules, and ensuring a professional customer service experience.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong Field Service and on-site installation skills for automotive or industrial equipment.
  • Candidates should possess Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose, resolve, and explain technical issues clearly.
  • Candidates should possess Preventive Maintenance capabilities, including scheduling, inspection, and routine servicing of equipment.
  • Candidates should possess Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate professionally, manage expectations, and build long-term relationships.
  • Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automobile, or related engineering discipline is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with automotive workshop equipment or related machinery is an advantage.
  • Ability to travel to customer locations, work independently in the field, and adhere to safety standards.
  • Basic computer literacy for service reporting and familiarity with mobile communication tools.
