Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Field Sales Executive based in Chennai. The Field Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, meeting sales targets, and providing excellent customer service. Additional responsibilities include conducting regular market visits, promoting products to retailers and distributors, and preparing detailed sales reports for management. The role requires regular travel within the assigned territory to meet with clients and partners.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and negotiation skills to drive business growth and achieve sales targets
- Excellent customer service and relationship management abilities
- Market research and analytical skills for understanding trends and identifying opportunities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with diverse clients
- Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple client accounts and travel schedules effectively
- Prior experience in field sales or a related role in the food industry is preferred
- Proven ability to work independently and manage a sales territory
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is an advantage
- Proficiency in local language(s) and familiarity with Chennai's market is a plus
