Project Name: HTA Resource Hub -IX
Position Code: IIPHG/REC/2026-27/16
Position Title: Field Investigator
No. of Posts: 02 (Two)
Location: Gujarat – On Field
Duration of Position: 06 Months
Brief On The Organization
Indian Institute of Public Health Gandhinagar (IIPHG) is a University established under IIPHG Act, 2015 of Gujarat State. It offers courses in the field of Public Health. It also undertakes various research projects in the field of Public Health. The university is established by Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) with support from the Government of Gujarat, Department of Health & Family Welfare.
Project Brief
IIPHG received a grant from the Department of Health Research, Government of India to establish a Resource Hub for Health Technology Assessment. The purpose of HTA is to support informed policymaking, and economic evaluation forms one of the core components of HTA studies. Hub will contribute to establishing a transparent and comprehensive mechanism of HTA for prudent and better allocation of resources, ensuring better equity in and access to healthcare in India.
Deliverables
Conduct primary data collection from healthcare facilities, households, or beneficiaries across assigned districts in Gujarat.
Accurately enter collected data into designated software/tools
Perform routine data validation and cleaning to ensure completeness, consistency, and accuracy
Basic data analysis and field report writing
Work closely with the Project PI, Co-Investigators, and HTA Hub staff for task execution.
Undertake any other tasks assigned by supervisors in line with project needs.
Qualification: Master’s degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university
Desirable: Master’s degree in Public Health – MPH
Experience: Experience in data collection & managing a large number of field-level data
Desirable: Experience working with State and District Health systems
