Role Overview

The Sales Executive (On-Field) role is focused exclusively on outbound, field-based sales. The position is responsible for acquiring new HoReCa and institutional clients through active on-ground prospecting, regular field visits, and relationship building.



Key Responsibilities


Outbound Field Sales

  1. Identify and onboard new HoReCa and institutional clients including hotels, restaurants, cafés, caterers, airlines, corporate cafeterias, hospitals, and educational institutions.
  2. Drive outbound sales through cold calls, walk-ins, scheduled field visits, and industry referrals.
  3. Conduct on-site product presentations and explain freeze-dried technology, shelf life advantages, and operational benefits.
  4. Manage product sampling, trials, and pilot orders, converting them into repeat commercial business.


Account Conversion

  1. Close new accounts and ensure smooth transition from trial to commercial orders.
  2. Build strong relationships with chefs, procurement teams, and kitchen managers.
  3. Coordinate internally for pricing, order planning, and dispatch after closure.


Market Feedback and Reporting

  1. Share regular updates on field activity, conversion status, and competitor insights.
  2. Provide on-ground feedback to support product improvements and new SKU development.



Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of outbound, on-field sales experience in HoReCa and institutional sales.
  • Strong understanding of foodservice kitchens and procurement cycles.
  • Comfortable with daily local travel in Bengaluru or Hyderabad.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Self-motivated and disciplined with a results-driven approach.



Preferred Background

  • Experience in food brands, FMCG, ingredients, or ready-to-eat foodservice products.
  • Exposure to airline catering, large caterers, or institutional kitchens is an advantage.
