This role exists because we want a local person on the ground in Tirupur, who knows every gully and every industrial estate, who can find the manufacturers that Google does not know about, and who can walk into any factory on our behalf.

About the Role

You will be factori.com's eyes, ears and hands in the Tirupur cluster.

You will do two things, every week:

1. Find and onboard new manufacturing partners for factori.com, especially the small and medium factories that are not listed on Google Maps, IndiaMART or JustDial — the ones you have to find by asking around, walking through industrial estates, and using your local network.
2. Conduct factory and production inspections at partner factories on behalf of factori.com's Bangalore HQ teams — whenever Procurement, Contract Manufacturing, Category or Quality request one.

You will report to our AVP — Partner Relationship Management at HQ Bengaluru, and you will be the only factori.com face many Tirupur manufacturers will ever see.

What You'll Do — Day to DayPartner sourcing (on the ground)

• Visit industrial estates, weaving clusters, dyeing units, garment stitching units and finishing units across Tirupur and nearby taluks (Palladam, Avinashi, Perundurai, Karur belt) on your two-wheeler.
• Talk to factory owners, supervisors and managers. Collect contact details, WhatsApp numbers, GST numbers, product categories, capacity, and current customer base.
• Photograph factory boards, main gates and product samples for our internal partner database.
• Send a daily update to the AVP — PRM: number of factories visited today, number of new leads captured, notable finds.

Factory & production inspections

• Visit an existing or prospective partner factory when the Bengaluru team requests an inspection.
• Verify capacity, machinery, workforce, current production, hygiene, and compliance visibly.
• Photograph and video-record the production floor as required.
• Complete the factory inspection checklist (we will share the format).
• Submit the inspection report on the same day.

Relationship and follow-up

• Be the friendly, professional first face of factori.com for every Tirupur manufacturer.
• Follow up with new leads until they are onboarded (in coordination with the PRM team at HQ).
• Escalate any partner-side issues to the AVP — PRM.

Who We Are Looking ForMust-have

• Native of Tirupur or born-and-brought-up in and around the Tirupur cluster. Local networks, local Tamil, and local knowledge are the whole point of this role.
• Own two-wheeler, in good running condition, with a valid driving licence.
• Comfortable riding across Tirupur and nearby taluks daily in all seasons.
• Working knowledge of Tamil (spoken) and functional English (spoken + written) — enough to write a short daily report and communicate with the Bengaluru team.
• Basic comfort with WhatsApp, Google Maps, mobile phone photography, Excel / Google Sheets.
• 12th pass / diploma / graduate from any stream — degree is not the deciding factor.
• 0 – 3 years of experience in any field-executive role — apparel manufacturing, textile trading, garment sourcing, quality audit, or B2B sales in Tirupur is a big plus.

Nice-to-have

• Prior work with a garment exporter, textile buying house, apparel manufacturer, or B2B sourcing agency in Tirupur.
• Familiarity with the Tirupur knitwear ecosystem — fabric mills, dyeing, printing, embroidery, stitching, packaging.
• Existing informal contacts inside Tirupur factories.
