Brief On The Organization

Indian Institute of Public Health Gandhinagar (IIPHG) is a University established under IIPHG Act, 2015 of Gujarat State. It offers courses in the field of Public Health. It also undertakes various research projects in the field of Public Health. The university is established by Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) with support from the Government of Gujarat, Department of Health & Family Welfare.

Project Brief

IIPHG received a grant from the Department of Health Research, Government of India to establish a Resource Hub for Health Technology Assessment. The purpose of HTA is to support informed policymaking, and economic evaluation forms one of the core components of HTA studies. Hub will contribute to establishing a transparent and comprehensive mechanism of HTA for prudent and better allocation of resources, ensuring better equity in and access to healthcare in India.

Deliverables

 To collect all needed data from constructed or available tools

 Hand over all collected data at the end of the working day

 Make data available for analyzing procedure

 Count and reconcile data in terms of quality and quantity

 Travel to the field as per the requirement

 Undertake any other tasks assigned by supervisors in line with project needs.

Qualification: Master’s degree in Public Health

Desirable: PhD in Health Economics/ Public Health or allied discipline.

Experience: Minimum 2 Year of Experience

Desirable: 1 Year of Experience and understanding of HTA Methods
