Role Overview

A leader in dermatological and pharmaceutical product manufacturing, operating in the consumer healthcare and regulated pharma sector. The role sits in a fast-paced on-site production environment delivering derma level cosmetic formulations to regulated markets, focused on quality, compliance and scale-up.

Primary Title: Factory Manager - Pharmaceutical - Cosmetic Manufacturing

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end factory operations for derma product lines, ensuring on-time shipments and production targets.
• Enforce cGMP-compliant processes: oversee batch record review, deviation and OOS investigations, CAPA, and change control.
• Plan and optimise production schedules, capacity and resource allocation to improve throughput and reduce lead times.
• Drive continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives to raise yield, reduce waste and lower manufacturing costs.
• Prepare and manage regulatory and customer audits, validation activities, supplier quality interactions and document control.
• Develop and coach on-site teams, enforce EHS and safety standards, and maintain high housekeeping and operational discipline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, Chemical / Mechanical / Industrial Engineering, Life Sciences or equivalent.
• Proven experience in pharmaceutical or derma manufacturing; demonstrable track record in production leadership and regulatory compliance.
• Strong stakeholder management and experience handling audits, regulatory inspections and cross-functional coordination.
• On-site position based in India; willingness to travel to suppliers or customers as required.
