Role Description The Factory Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Chhatral, responsible for overseeing day-to-day manufacturing operations for a laminate manufacturing company. This role includes planning and monitoring production schedules, coordinating resources, and ensuring that output meets quality, cost, and delivery targets. The Factory Manager will supervise teams on the shop floor, implement standard operating procedures, and enforce safety and compliance guidelines. Responsibilities also include optimizing workflows, resolving operational issues, tracking performance metrics, and collaborating with management to support continuous improvement and business growth.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Production Planning and Production Management skills to effectively manage schedules, resources, and output.
  • Candidates should possess Manufacturing Operations and Operations Management skills to oversee end-to-end factory processes and drive efficiency.
  • Candidates should possess Quality Control skills to ensure products meet required standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Candidates should possess leadership, team management, and communication skills to guide factory staff and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Candidates should possess problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities to address operational challenges and improve performance.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role, is beneficial.
  • A diploma or degree in Engineering, Production, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations, compliance requirements, and continuous improvement methodologies (such as Lean or 5S) is an advantage.
