Factory head cum manager for Leather Bag Export House

Silver Melon Private Limited, is a socially compliant 100% export oriented manufacturing house for fashion accessories, bags and SLG, and we are seeking to hire an experienced factory head cum manager for managing and handling the entire operations, production and employees with knowledge and experience of over 10 years in a similar field and role.

Role & responsibilities

1. Work as factory head cum manager- Oversee factory operations from order sheet to cutting department to dispatch and managing staff, workers and day to day production and planning along with suppliers

2. Co-ordinate and lead all the departments in factory to complete production and shipment dispatch in a timely manner

3. Overseeing and supervision of sampling department

4. Delegate work to each and every person/ department in the factory

5. Having contacts to fill any role or arrange people across departments with the factory

6. Achieve shipment dispatch targets after handing over of order copy

7. Daily production reports to be submitted to management using MS Excel or similar tool

Preferred candidate profile

- Graduate degree in any field

-Possess leadership quality to lead and inspire a big team of supervisors, staff and workers

- Minimum of 10 years of experience working as a factory manager in export house in leather/ fashion accessories production

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency and experience in using MS office tools- Word, Excel and Powerpoint

-Pro active individual with hunger to learn and discipline to succeed

- Strong production planning and team management skills with leadership qualities
