Factory Accounts Manager

Role Overview

We are hiring a highly disciplined and control-oriented Factory Accounts Manager to take complete ownership of financial integrity, stock accuracy, and compliance at our manufacturing unit. This is a critical control role—any gaps in stock, accounting, or reporting will be directly attributable to this position.

Core Accountability Areas

1. Inventory & Stock Control (Zero Tolerance for Variance)

- Maintain 100% accurate stock records of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods

- Daily monitoring of material movement, consumption, and reconciliation

- Conduct frequent physical verification and ensure zero unexplained variance

- Implement strict controls to eliminate pilferage, leakages, and inefficiencies

- Full accountability for stock discrepancies and audit observations

2. Bookkeeping & Financial Discipline

- Ensure real-time, error-free accounting entries in Tally/ERP

- Strict control over purchase entries, GRNs, vendor bills, and expense booking

- Maintain complete and audit-ready documentation at all times

- Ensure no backlog, no delay, and no reconciliation gaps

- Direct responsibility for internal and external audit readiness

3. Finance Control & MIS Reporting

- Deliver accurate and timely MIS, cost sheets, and variance reports without follow-ups

- Track and control production cost, wastage, and overhead leakages

- Maintain tight control over cash, bank transactions, and petty cash

- Ensure alignment with HO on financial reporting and compliance timelines

- Identify and flag financial risks, inefficiencies, and cost overruns proactively

Non-Negotiable Requirements

- Education: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA

- Experience: 5–7 years in factory accounting (manufacturing setup mandatory)

- Strong hands-on experience in inventory control and cost tracking

- Advanced proficiency in Tally/

- ERP and Excel (no dependency on others)

- Clear understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance

- High ownership mindset with zero tolerance for errors or delays

- Able to enforce systems and push back where required

- 100% on-time MIS and reporting

- No audit qualifications due to accounting gaps

- Tight control on inventory and cost leakages
