Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and proactive
Fabric Data Engineer
with 3?5 years of experience in data engineering and cloud analytics, with a strong focus on
Microsoft Fabric
. This role involves designing, building, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and architectures using Fabric?s integrated components (Data Factory, Synapse, OneLake, etc.) to support enterprise analytics and business intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop end-to-end data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, including Data Pipelines, Lakehouse, Notebooks, and Dataflows.
Build and maintain efficient ETL/ELT pipelines using Data Factory in Fabric.
Integrate data from diverse sources into OneLake and organize data into structured, queryable formats (Delta Lake, Parquet, etc.).
Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, reliable data models for analytics.
Optimize data performance and storage for large-scale data processing using Synapse Real-Time Analytics and SQL Endpoints.
Implement CI/CD pipelines for Fabric projects using Git integration and deployment pipelines.
Ensure data quality, security, governance, and compliance across the data lifecycle.
Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues, monitor performance, and apply tuning techniques.
Document data architecture, workflows, and standards to support scalability and maintainability.
Required Skills And Qualifications
3?5 years of experience in data engineering or data platform development roles.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric components: Data Factory, Lakehouse, Notebooks, Pipelines, OneLake, and Synapse.
Strong proficiency in SQL, PySpark, and Dataflow Gen2.
Experience with Delta Lake formats and medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers).
Familiarity with Power BI integration for end-to-end analytics.
Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT best practices, and data warehousing.
Experience working in cloud environments (preferably Microsoft Azure).
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft certifications (e.g., DP-600: Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate).
Experience with Git-based version control, DevOps, or CI/CD practices for data workflows.
Knowledge of data governance, Purview, or Microsoft Information Protection (MIP).
