Role Description The Executive Chef is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore, responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations and culinary output. This role includes planning and designing menus, supervising food preparation and presentation, and maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, and food safety. The Executive Chef leads, trains, and schedules kitchen staff, manages inventory and purchasing, and ensures cost-effective use of resources. The position also involves collaborating with event and operations teams to deliver memorable dining experiences, maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations, and continuously improving culinary offerings based on guest feedback and market trends.

Qualifications

  • Strong culinary expertise, including menu creation, food preparation techniques, and presentation skills.
  • Proven kitchen leadership experience, including team management, training, and performance supervision.
  • Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and quality control standards in a high-volume environment.
  • Experience with cost control, inventory management, and vendor coordination to maintain budget and quality targets.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to support events, hospitality services, and guest satisfaction.
  • Relevant culinary education or certification and prior experience as an Executive Chef or senior culinary leader, preferably in hotels, resorts, stadiums, or large event venues.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
