Position Overview

We are looking for a high-calibre Executive Assistant to work directly with the Founder of a 10-year-old digital marketing company undergoing a major scale-up in processes, systems, and org design. The ideal candidate has recently supported a founder / C‐level leader in a fast-paced unicorn tech startup and is comfortable operating in a high-ambiguity, high-growth environment.

About The Role

Act as an extension of the Founder, managing time, information, and priorities so they can focus on strategy, growth, and key relationships.

Blend classic EA responsibilities (calendar, inbox, travel, meeting prep) with light project coordination across marketing, ops, product, and hiring.

Bring startup-grade speed, judgment, and ownership, with the ability to operate autonomously and push back or reprioritize when needed.

Key Responsibilities

Ideal Profile -

  • Own complex calendar, inbox, and meeting management for the Founder, including prioritization, prep notes, and follow-ups.
  • Track key initiatives (process overhaul, systems implementation, hiring, OKRs) and ensure follow-through with stakeholders and deadlines.
  • Prepare decks, briefs, and summaries for internal reviews, client meetings, and potential investor or partner conversations.
  • Coordinate with leadership across marketing, sales, operations, finance, and HR to remove blockers and keep the Founder informed.
  • Support documentation of new processes, SOPs, and workflows as the company upgrades its frameworks, tools, and org structure.
  • Handle confidential information and sensitive communication with high discretion and professionalism.
  • Conduct targeted research (market, tools, competitors, potential hires/partners) and turn it into concise recommendations or action lists.
  • Leverage productivity tools (Google Workspace, Notion/Asana/Jira, CRM, Slack, etc.) and propose automations to make the Founder more effective.


Experience: 4–8 years as Executive Assistant / EA to Founder / EA to C‐suite; at least 1–2 recent years supporting leadership in a unicorn tech startup.

Communication: Proven experience handling rapid context-switching, high volume of communication, and complex stakeholder management.

Writing Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft emails, notes, and docs that sound like the Founder.

Organization: Highly organized with strong judgement on prioritization, able to say "no" or renegotiate timelines while protecting the Founder''''s focus.

Technical Aptitude: Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new tools quickly, including AI- assisted workflows for drafting, research, and documentation.

Mindset: High ownership mindset, low ego, comfortable with "whatever it takes" attitude typical of high-growth startup environments.

Nice-to-Have

  • Exposure to digital marketing, performance marketing, CRM-led operations, or marketing-tech/SaaS environments.
  • Experience supporting founders during periods of process and systems transformation (e.g., new CRMs, org restructuring, OKRs, or scaling from founder-led to function-led).
